The classic returns, first conceived by David Oreste Defrancesco (DOD’s namesake) in the ’70’s as a way to get distortion and boost without any of the downsides that came with some of the fuzzes of the era. This 50th Anniversary version, made in the USA with through hole components too, it features updates using the vintage correct LM741 OpAmp, just like back in the ’70’s. Switch between vintage-authentic SILICON clipping, Ge/ASYM Germanium asymmetrical clipping, or LIFT for no diode clipping for either clean boost use or op-amp rail clipping at higher levels. Modern appointments like a tough, light, pedalboard friendly aluminum chassis. standard power input jack, true bypass, LED indicator, and a silver/grey powder-coat with yellow print and a special 50th Anniversary plaque on the enclosure too, makes the 250 at home on any pedalboard.

Local pickup - If you are local and wish to collect any items or order in advance for collection on a specific day, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout. Or drop me a message and I'll reserve the items ready for your visit.
For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 14:00GMT (with Royal Mail shipping services only) to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
