Aptenia cordifolia, commonly known as heartleaf ice plant or baby sun rose, is a low-growing, succulent ground cover plant native to South Africa. The leaves are fleshy and glossy green, while the flowers can range in colour from shades of pink to purple. Aptenia cordifolia is a resilient and drought-tolerant plant that thrives in full sun and well-drained soil.
