The Modular Chest Rig-Kit Bag by FullTang Tactical is one of the most versatile pieces of gear you will ever find - truly blurring the lines between bushcraft and tactical. Whether you are hiking, hunting, fishing, or running tactical drills - this kit fully converts from a hiking day pack,  to a stand-alone chest rig,  to a placard for a plate carrier on the fly because of the built-in rear kangaroo pocket opening.

It is made with the highest quality MIL-SPEC materials such as Squadron™ laminate, water-repellent YKK® AquaGuard® zippers and DWR/TPU-coated 500D nylon for superior weather protection and durability. 

The upgraded shoulder H-harness is made of durable laminate with side routing slots and holes to run shock cord/comms cables. Webbing loops on the back provide hardware connection points for load-bearing belt systems or attachment of carabiners, fly fishing nets, etc.

Optional lightly padded mesh/softshell comfort sleeves can be added to the shoulder harness for an extra layer of abrasion protection, cable routing options, ventilation, and low-vis appearance. 

We've added an adjustable/removable paracord retention system on both sides of the interior walls to keep the bag from opening all the way and to hang lanyards.

The H-shaped design of the front panel creates a rigid geometric structure while allowing it to flex just the right amount in certain areas. 

Our chest rig-kit bag is currently being used by active-duty military and tested at TUSC (Tactical Urban Sustainment Course) for its durability and sustainment capabilities. It is utilized by outdoor enthusiasts in challenging environments where having top-of-the-line gear matters most. It has also received attention from major government contractors who are suppliers of gear for tactical medical teams.

The kit bag allows you to insert a wide-range of magazine inserts that have Loop Velcro on the front and Hook Velcro on the back behind the main pouch against your body. There is also plush velvet-like Loop Velcro lining covering the entire inside of the bag so you can attach a variety of EDC/mission specific pouches with hook-backed Velcro.

The idea behind our Modular Chest Rig-Kit Bag bag is to allow for easy transfer of mission essentials quickly and easily. For example, you can wear it as a normal kit bag while carrying your mag inserts in your patrol pack, and if the mission changes, you can easily drop one of the triple mag inserts into the rear kangaroo pocket so it sits against your body and distributes the extra weight perfectly. If the mission calls for a heavier loadout, you can slap the kit bag onto a plate carrier in seconds to use as a fully loaded out placard.

The chest rig can be attached to the shoulder straps or front of a backpack such as our Minuteman Pack with the included buckles. The shoulder harness works with our load bearing belt and can folded up into a small roll and tucked away while not in use. This modular system is low profile, yet roomy, and allows for insane amounts of expansion with added accessories.
