This Shift Knob Adapter will go on before the shift knob and it acts as a jamb nut.
This is very easy to install: Place your shifter into the reverse position. Install the VMS Racing shift knob adapter until it contacts the reverse lockout pull-up. Then just back it off one turn and install the shift knob. To finish just align your shift knob to desired position and tighten the adapter and knob against one another to secure in place.
Shift boot adapter is made to Work on Manual transmission vehicles ONLY.
