DAW:

Designed to give you true Ironheart performance in a convenient desktop package, directly into your DAW using the T-USB 2.0 interface.

The USB2.0 Bidirectional interface simultaneously sends an amped and a dry signal to your DAW via different channels, allowing you to re-amp the dry signal later using the leadless re-amp feature – simply hit the re-amp button and your original dry guitar track is re routed via the USB socket back through the IRT-PULSE.

With real tube tone into your DAW thanks to the two ECC83 high voltage tubes on board the IRT-PULSE features two modes REGULAR and HOT. Regular allows you to dial in a small amount of tube drive giving you a really nice amount of natural break up whilst hot mode switches you into real IRONHEART lead tone and everything in between.

The IRT-PULSE comes equipped with a switchable on-board cabinet emulation – the same as the great sounding cabinet emulation as the IRT-STUDIO.

So you can use the on-board emulation or record it dry and add an IR from you DAW. It’s your choice.

Silent Practice:

With on-board cabinet emulation and a headphone facility the IRT-PULSE is a totally silent all tube practice rig. Equipped with a headphone socket, an aux in and on-board cabinet emulation the IRT-PULSE allows you to practice wherever and whenever you want with true IRONHEART tube tone!

Boutique Boost Pedal:

Equipped with a footswitchable bypass function the IRT-PULSE is as happy sitting on your pedal board as it is on your desk and it’s two high voltage ECC83’s tubes provide masses of front-end gain to any amplifier. It will happily sit in with the rest of your pedals on your pedal board.

In order to cater for different amplifier characteristics the IRT-PULSE has a number of EQ options, Dark, Bright and EQ. When connecting to an overly bright amplifier use the DARK switch to cut some of the HF in the IRT-PULSE signal, conversely if you are connecting to a dark sounding amp then engage the BRIGHT switch to boost the high end of the IRT-PULSE and for general tone shaping the EQ button calls up a fixed EQ curve which boosts the bass and tops whilst pulling back the mids giving you a very pleasing sound.

FX Loop:

The IRT-PULSE can also be used to add some tube tone to a non-tube set up simply by connecting the IRT-PULSE into an amps effects loop.
