If rough weather is expected it's recommended to utilize all stake loops instead of just the four corners. The Silex is a zipperless shelter so no need to worry about leaking, wearing out, or adding weight to your pack. The Silex is a perfect option for the hunter that's counting ounces to go farther and hunt harder.

For those looking to add a stove to your silex, we recommend a medium stove if you're looking to save weight, provide good heat, and have a cooking surface.
