This pedal is not just a mere recreation of the renowned Tube Screamer, rather it's an homage to the original, flawlessly mastered for an unparalleled tone. Experience the evolution of an icon with the Browne Amps' Gritador. This pedal is not just a mere recreation of the renowned Tube Screamer, rather it's an homage to the original, flawlessly mastered for an unparalleled tone. Imagine the classic midrange bump that has been the cornerstone of countless hit records, but without the hint of nasality that has sometimes clouded the circuit. That's the nuance of the Gritador.
But the craftsmanship doesn't stop there. The Gritador boasts clipping tweaks that push the boundaries of what the traditional overdrive can do, yielding a less symmetrical yet more engaging sonic texture. It brings warmth to the low end without sacrificing its tight, punchy nature. It's no wonder the pedal earned its name, Gritador - the Portuguese term for "screamer".
Designed for ease-of-use, the Gritador features soft switching and an adjustable startup state, providing a versatile tool for any guitarist's pedalboard. To top it all off, its glossy Bullfrog Belly Green casing is a nod to the military-tinged aesthetic Browne Amplification is known for, ensuring this pedal looks as good as it sounds.
For those in search of an overdrive that's not just another clone but enhances a revered classic, the Gritador is the golden ticket. Plug it in and let it scream.
- Tube Screamer-Style Overdrive, Tweaked to Perfection
- Standard 9V DC Operation
- Mildly Asymmetrical Clipping Circuit
- Tight, Pronounced Low End Response
- Less "Nasal" Midrange Punch
