Growth Rate

While the succulent is slow growing, its beauty and odour are worth it. Especially for people who prefer large succulents, the grand lobster claw plant is a sight to see.

Flowering

In the autumn, you will see large and scented flowers blooming. These flowers will be cream, yellow, pink, or orange.

Watering and Feeding

In summer, just spray the succulent with a fine mist. Water abundantly in spring and autumn but ensure you do not overwater. Buy a well-balanced fertilizer with organic liquid.

Soil

Create a soil mix rich in minerals but also low in potassium. Since Cheiridopsis Pillansii is prone to root rot, good drainage is a must.

Hardiness

With a hardiness zone of 9A to 11, Lobster Claw plants prefer a very bright situation and tolerate only a light frost. Its frost tolerance is -5° C.

Light

Provide Lobster Claws with direct sunlight but partial shade. This is one plant that needs plenty of sunlight and hence is better grown outdoors than indoors.

Propagation

You can choose between offsets or seeds. A tip for propagation through seeds is to sow them in autumn and place the seeds in a small container with warm water for better germination.

Everyone loves a beautiful plant that requires nothing but your unconditional love. Since the Lobster claw is low growing, it can be kept and grown anywhere you like and find convenient!

Wow! So moisturizing!
OMGosh, this feels so good on your lips! I just got this today so I’ll have to update if the moisture doesn’t last. But so far it feels nice. I did have a slight issue with it melting onto itself in the one day it took to get to me. See photos. The tube itself was slightly concave because of the melting. But is still intact. So far though I love this stuff!

Pretty good stuff
Not a miracle cream, but I've certainly paid more for worse lip balm. The tallow is helping keep my lips hydrated, and it feels great when applied. Just got Invisalign, and I struggle with hydration normally, but this is helping keep the lips soft and smooth, and is miles ahead of the cheap drugstore brands that dry more than they help.

Worth a try, I guess.
Picked up this beef tallow lip balm for my husband. We had the worst winter and everything was so dry. He is used to using the waxy sticks you buy at the big box stores to treat his dry lips. He has been using tallow and I noticed this lip balm and thought he might like it. The stick is quite big. Thicker than the normal waxy stick you might buy at the store. In line with some of the larger sticks I have seen in the stores by some of the men's lines that are out there. He used it often and found it to work well. Did it work better than some of the waxy sticks from the store, he didn't think so but it was on par with those. He does like that it is natural. He told me that he would apply it and his lips would feel good and it would last for a while and just like any other product he would try, his lips would be dry again after a while. I would say that generally, it sounds like an average product but it's natural. Worth a try, I guess!
