After a few days of use, it does start to show wear and the rubber begins splitting, but we haven’t had to be concerned about chunks or anything like that coming off and choking her. Keeps her teeth nice and shiny while keeping her occupied for hours. When one wears out, we just order a new one. I hate spending big money on dog toys, but these are more affordable and worth the cost!!
