Himiway has set the benchmark for all-electric mountain bikes with their overkill Cobra Pro Softail mountain bike. Motor

The star of the show is the 1000 W Bafang motor that delivers 160 Nm of torque. This is in no way excessive, given the nature of the trail it can conquer. The motor is controlled by a throttle and provides pedal assist.

• It uses a 48 V 20 Ah battery with cells that have low resistance and charge faster compared to older lithium batteries.
• You can easily get a 6 hour charge with this battery with intense riding on the trail.
• It also powers the bright lights and the digital display in the cockpit.

Four Bar Linkage Suspension

The Cobra Pro differentiates itself from other electric mountain bikes with its four-bar linkage suspension, with an improved coil from the previous Cobra Softail. The four bar linkage is still uncommon and Himiway showed their complex engineering by adopting this suspension.

• The seat stay and rocker both adjust to absorb the shocks.
• They can also push downward on the wheel to grip the bike path.
• Speeding with this bike over jumps, the polygon moves up and when landing the coil absorbs most of the shock with the front fork.
• The A5 coil suspension and the front fork have plenty of travel and the ride feels smooth for hours on end.

Gears

The gearing is a 10 speed cassette with a shimano dual shifter and some of the best hydraulic disc brakes. The Tektro brakes perform extremely well, riding downhill and offering that quick grip when climbing rocky terrain.
