These transmissions are much stronger than the earlier Getrag 220 250 5 speed which are notoriously weak. The GS6 17BG bolts up directly to BMW M4x M5x motors with no adapter and will also utilise the same transmission brace as a Getrag 220 250 5speed which makes them an easy swap into E30 36 46 without a custom mount brace.
