Ctenanthe are related to Maranta, Calathea and Stromanthe and are best known for their fantastic leaf patterns! Also known as Prayer plants for the way their leaves close up at night. The Ctenanthe Burle Marxii Amabilis has lovely long, green, oval leaves with a gorgeous herringbone pattern. Ctenanthe are a lovely showy plant, easy to make a real statement! 

How to care for your Ctenanthe -

Water: They must be kept in damp soil at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Think little and often as a watering policy.

Light: They need plenty of diffused light however direct sunlight will cause the leaves to fade and lose their markings.

Humidity: They enjoy humidity, brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low.

Temperature: They like warmth, about 20 degrees C.

Excellent book, with a complete introduction that covers different points of view of the creation of such work of art, it can be seen that it was translated with a team of high academic preparation and knowledge on the subject. It was translated with a lot of precision, respect, professionalism and with much seriousness to the subject. The book is made with high quality and its pages are quite thick. The only mistake that I could notice and it is difficult for me not to be upset, is that they created the index and left out the chapters of each book. For me it is a gross error in comparison with other versions. It's the reason why I could not give 5 stars.
