Philodendron lynamii Culture:
This tropical plant is celebrated for its stunning foliage that displays remarkable color variation between the front and back of its leaves. The large, heart-shaped leaves showcase vibrant green coloration on the upper surface with prominent, well-defined venation, while the undersides reveal beautiful copper-bronze to reddish-brown tones.
- Light: Bright, indirect light while avoiding direct sunlight to protect delicate leaves from burning.
- Temperature: Maintain 18-27°C (65-80°F) without cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
- Humidity: High humidity levels of 60-80% for optimal growth.
- Watering: Keep soil moist but well-draining, allowing the top inch to dry between waterings to prevent root rot.
Additional Notes:
Distinctive Foliage: The striking contrast between the green upper leaf surface and the copper-bronze underside makes this species particularly captivating, with prominent veining that adds to its architectural beauty.
