PLANT:
- Crassula 'Buddha’s Temple' is a fascinating hybrid succulent, created by crossing Crassula pyramidalis and Crassula perfoliata var. falcata. It is named for its distinctive, compact, square-shaped growth habit, resembling a miniature pagoda or stacked temple. The tightly packed, overlapping leaves form a geometric column, making it a favorite among succulent collectors. In late winter to early spring, mature plants may produce small, pinkish-white flowers at the top of the stem. This slow-growing succulent is best suited for container gardening, as it thrives in well-draining soil and requires minimal care.
- Water Needs:
Low; water sparingly and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter to prevent root rot. - Light Requirement:
Bright, indirect light to full sun. Too much direct sun can cause leaf scorching, while too little light may lead to stretching. - Maintenance:
Low; prefers well-draining soil and occasional fertilization during the growing season. Avoid excessive handling, as the leaves are delicate and can break easily. - Common Names:
Buddha’s Temple Crassula. - Family:
Crassulaceae. - Origin:
Hybrid (not naturally occurring). - Cold Tolerance:
Not frost-hardy; protect from temperatures below 5°C. - Heat Tolerance:
Can tolerate high temperatures but should be shielded from extreme direct sunlight to prevent sunburn.
CERAMIC:
- Size: cm Height x cm Width.
- Unique stoneware handcrafted pot from Green Glossy Collection
- Fired up to 1200°C
- Glazed in the interior, to keep the roots safe and secure.

Such a fun book in the series. Gilbert is back and having another fun (mildly sarcastic) adventure. Love reading these to my kids. They enjoy them and I find some humor in them.
