Honey locust tree, Gleditsia trianthos, also known as the thorny locust and sweet locust is a fast growing, deciduous tree that can grow to 80 ft tall. Native to central and eastern North America. Honey locust is an excellent choice to plant in a native garden. The leaves turn bright yellow in the fall.
The long, sharp thorns make this tree unsuitable for home landscapes.
Likes full sun to partial shade planted in a well-drained, moist organic rich soil. Is tolerant to salt, wind, drought, pollution and is deer resistant. It's fine leaves and open branch structure allow enough filtered light to penetrate to allow grass and shrubs to grow underneath while providing moderate shade. This long lived, hardy species is popular for hedges, windbreaks, soil erosion control, and attracting wildlife. Wildlife and livestock eat the sweet nutritious bean shaped seed pods and find protection from predators in the tree thickets.
Flowers provide nectar for bees and other pollinators.
It's small leaves also make it an ideal bonsai candidate.
Honey locust wood is dense and harder than white oak. Wood is easy to split, and is rot resistant. It is used for fuel, fence post, tool handles, and railroad ties.
Available as potted trees -Year around or until sold out. Shipped fully rooted in soil in pot. Ships with leaves in Spring and Summer and dormant without leaves in Fall and Winter.
Grown in soil less mix, we can ship to all states.

Love the sheets but GOSH THEY STINK

I have the dark green sheets and bought these for extra cases to match. I would give them 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that they smell absolutely horrible. I am so surprised after reading reviews that more people don’t mention it?! Maybe it’s more prominent in darker colors but I have washed these now 3 different times even with scent beads and still hate the smell. I wish I could accurately describe what it smells like— it’s just not good and for some reason, body heat only exacerbates it and makes the smell even worse and I wake up feeling like a smell like the sheets… which isn’t a good thing.
Besides that, I do really enjoy them. They feel great on your skin and I love the color. I wish the smell didn’t kill them so badly for me ☹️

Comfy soft pillow covers

These Bamboo Pillowcases Made Me Realize I Sleep Hot

I bought these mostly because I kept hearing people talk about bamboo pillowcases and honestly thought it sounded a little overhyped, but I totally get it now. The first thing I noticed was how cool they felt compared to regular cotton. I tend to get warm when I sleep and flip my pillow a million times during the night looking for the cold side, and these actually stay noticeably cooler longer.
They also feel really soft without having that weird slippery texture some silky pillowcases have. My skin has been less irritated lately and my hair definitely looks less frizzy in the mornings. I have thick hair that tangles easily overnight, and these have helped more than I expected.
Another thing I appreciate is that they’ve washed well so far. I was worried they’d pill or lose softness after a wash cycle, but they still feel smooth and nice. They also just make the bed feel cleaner and more comfortable overall. One of those small upgrades that ends up making a bigger difference than you’d think.
