When blooming they produce pink blooms with purple flowers. They grown long on a stem and when pups are left in place they can form an incredible clump that does well hanging. Their natural environment is at a high elevation with cooler temperatures, bright light and little water. When caring for Stellifera mist really well rather than soak. A quick "rinse" under the faucet will also suffice. Provide lots of bright light and an open, airy environment. Avoid high temperatures.

These plants are low maintenance, making them a great choice for people who are new to indoor plants.

They need regular daily indirect or filtered sunlight (so fine for desks, shelves, bathrooms or bedrooms). A weekly water is all they require - although you can always give them a mist in between if they look a little dry.

Air plants prefer regular air circulation, so we suggest open terrariums rather than the kind with lids.
