About Sedum Clavatum Variegated

Sedum Clavatum variegated is different from Sedum Clavatum in color and care guides. The leaves are blue-green, lined with jelly yellow, coated with white powder, very delicate and cute. The tips of leaves would dress in pink to red while getting enough sun exposure. Like Sedum Clavatum, it is easy to form layer leaves on woody stems, which look like beautiful rosettes succulents. The leaves on branches usually extend upwards and lose some of the bottom leaves as growing, which is normal and won't compromise their growth.

How to care for Sedum Clavatum Variegated

Soil/Watering: Variegated succulents are more sensitive to water and humidity. The chubby leaves hold too much water inside. So providing well-drainage potting soil and succulent planter with bottom holes are crucial while growing Sedum Clavatum variegated. Add more gritty rocks or perlite to the regular soil when the woody stems form because the mature succulent tree needs better drainage. Only water it when the leaves wilt to prevent rotting and pest infection.

Sun: This cute succulent prefers at least 8-hour sun exposure to keep its jelly-yellow color. Sedum Clavatum would drop off some leaves in summer for high heat and dormancy habits. Like other live succulents, Sedum Clavatum hates summer rains, which quickly cause leaves to rot and plant death. Thus, growing them in an airy location with a sun shade or rain cover can help them survive. The leaves would turn pale green, and the compact rose shape would become flat to the pot mouth underexposure.

Temperature: Chubby Sedum Clavatum variegated prefers outdoor growing to thrive in spring and fall. Move them indoors before frost to prevent plant freeze. As said before, providing sunshades or rain cover in summer is essential if you live in rainy cities.

Pots/Repotting: For its woody tree stems, Sedum Clavatum variegated enjoys growing in more petite mouth succulent planter pots or any deeper planters. You can repot this succulent in spring every two years with succulent organic soil to provide enough food it needs.

Other tips: For succulent plants that are easy to branch, you can insert wooden sticks into the planter by the fragile branches to provide support. Click here to learn how to grow big and branch succulents.

Propagation: As its easy-to-branch characteristic, beheading the plant is the fast way to propagate this succulent plant.

Fave dog toy!
Color: Betty Bigfoot
Great toy! My dog prefers the ball inside which is great for chewing on, bouncing, and playing fetch. Very thick rubber, lasts a good while. The outside cover is pretty tough, but for those who like a challenge it should last a little while. It really depends on how determined and fierce the dog is about chewing! We’ve had 3 of them. We always keep a back up for when one expires!!

Perfect for Heavy Chewers—Huge Hit in Our House!
Color: Aurora Beast
This toy is an absolute favorite in my house! My dogs are usually pretty picky and can destroy most toys within minutes, but this one has seriously impressed me. It’s super durable while still being soft enough for them to carry around and cuddle with. They’re completely obsessed—whether they’re chewing on it, tossing it around, or just walking around proudly with it in their mouths. It keeps them entertained for a long time, which is a huge win. Definitely worth it if you have strong chewers and want something that actually lasts. I’ll be buying more from this line for sure!

SUPERB FOR AGGRESSIVE CHEWERS
Color: Betty Bigfoot
Our Silver Lab, Theo, is a VERY aggressive chewer who loves destroying balls! We bought Barkbox Betty for Theo’s Birthday, and it was almost a week before Theo removed the cover when he discovered the ball inside and he loves it! And it’s tough design seems to be holding up! Eager to figure out if it floats! We will definitely buy this high quality toy again!

Too hard and heavy.
Color: Fowl Play
Very cute idea but my dog was not at all interested. It’s too hard for her to chew on. She didn’t even care enough about it to rip the outside. It’s hard and heavy. I will stick with the non-super chewer bark toys. They don’t last as long, but she loves them.

Tough & fun!
Color: Betty Bigfoot
This is my puppy’s favorite toy. I’ve bought 4 in case he eventually finds a way to destroy the ball because he is a 1 year old super-chewer. That said, this ball is TOUGH! It’s taken severe abuse from our dog & we couldn’t be more satisfied.
