This plant is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America and the Caribbean, where it often grows as an epiphyte (on trees) or in the shaded forest understory.
According to NASA research, peperomias are effective at reducing indoor air pollutants like formaldehyde. Often called the "Baby Rubber Plant," it is a resilient choice for beginners and busy plant parents alike. Peperomia 'Marble' is non-toxic to dogs, cats, and humans.
