Premium Window Boxes — Built to Last Outdoors
A 36-inch window box handcrafted from 100% real raw copper—designed for customers who want a true architectural material, not a “copper-look” finish. This H Potter window box pairs real copper with a welded, powder-coated metal frame for a clean, luxury contrast that looks at home on cottages, modern farmhouses, and high-end builds.
At 36 inches long, this is a favorite “sweet spot” size—roomy enough for lush planting designs while still fitting most common window spans.
Because copper is a favorite among architects, custom homebuilders, restaurants, and hotels, this style is also a strong choice for commercial installs where curb appeal and materials matter.

Materials: This window box includes a 100% real raw copper planter and a welded metal frame and/or mounting brackets finished in black powder coat.
Finish: After construction, a clear-coat lacquer is applied to help protect the copper and slow patina. Outdoor exposure and watering habits can still influence how the surface ages over time.
- Avoid constant overflow: Minerals/chlorine/soil additives can contribute to spotting if water runs down the exterior.
- Not designed as a fountain: Continuous water exposure is not recommended.
- Winter storage: Optional. Clean with mild soap + water, dry thoroughly, then store if preferred.
- Mounting note: Included brackets are not designed for metal railings. For railing installs, explore HoldItMate® systems.
Is this window box made from real copper or a copper finish?
This planter is crafted from 100% real raw copper and finished with a clear-coat lacquer.
Does this 36" window box include brackets and hardware?
Yes. This window box includes 3 mounting brackets and standard hardware. If installing on masonry or other surfaces, you may need alternative fasteners.
Does the window box have drainage holes?
Yes—drainage holes are included to help prevent waterlogged soil and support healthy roots.
Will the copper change color outdoors?
Copper can naturally develop character over time. The clear-coat lacquer helps slow patina, but climate, watering, and exposure can influence the finish.
Is this style available in other sizes?
Yes—this style is available in 30" and 48" lengths to fit different window spans and planting designs.
Can I mount this to a metal railing?
The included brackets are not designed for metal railing installation. For railing-mounted setups, we recommend exploring HoldItMate® systems.
