This epiphytic cactus is not only a conversation starter but also surprisingly easy to care for, making it perfect for beginner and seasoned plant parents alike.

The Zig Zag Cactus is a versatile beauty that can be displayed upright in a pot or allowed to cascade dramatically from a hanging basket. As a bonus, mature plants may reward you with spectacular, fragrant white blooms in the right conditions—usually at night!

Position Place in bright, indirect light for optimal growth. It can tolerate some direct morning sun but avoid harsh afternoon rays to keep its stems vibrant and healthy.
Temperature Loves a warm environment, ideally between 18–24°C. Keep it away from cold drafts or temperatures below 10°C.
Water Water regularly in the warmer months but allow to dry out between waterings. Keep on the dry side in colder climates in winter.
Fertiliser During its growing season (spring and summer), a light feed with a balanced succulent fertiliser every month will encourage healthy growth.
Repotting Repot every 2–3 years or when the plant has outgrown its current pot.

I don’t know what the bad reviews are about. This is a beautiful, well made 4 panel screen. The screen print appears to be a standard print that is likely the same on every screen they produce (not hand painted by two different people). It is beautiful. Everything about it, including the colors and the screen print image on rice paper, is more lovely than the photos. The wooden frame (black) is solid and sturdy. The hinges are stable and well positioned. When people say lightweight it sounds misleading. It is lightweight enough to easily maneuver but this four panel screen is sturdy and stable. It is slim and tall so someone could conceivably bump into it and jostle it. But no more so than any number of other items in one’s home. I highly recommend this beautiful, lovely, fine piece of home decor. I purchased this as a divider between my work station (office) and my living room. Also, even though there was a slight dent in the package when it was delivered, it wasn’t a deep enough gash to damage the screen. When I pulled the screen from the box my first thought was just how study it is. So very pleased with this purchase.
