  • Solder free!
  • 500k/250k (selectable) audio taper
  • Split, knurled shaft (24 teeth), for push-on knobs
  • Included sleeve turns split-shaft pot into 1/4" solid-shaft for setscrew knobs
  • 3/8-32 SAE bushing thread
  • .500" bushing length, long enough for rear-routed guitars
  • Screwdriver included

The best guitar pots we're aware of are made by CTS, and these CTS push/pull pots combine that great CTS quality with the convenience of a built-in DPDT switch that can be used for many things: coil splitting, phase reverse, series/parallel, and more.

DOES NOT FIT IN TELE ROUT
The circuit board hanging out on one side prevents this pot from fitting in a standard Telecaster control cavity.

Our Solderless Version Solves a Problem
When we first saw the CTS DPDT push/pull pots we knew they'd be somewhat daunting to solder to, as the wire connections for the switch are made via holes in the circuit board. You have to stick the wire into the hole, try to hold it in place without wiggling it, then solder it to the circuit board. There's not much room, and once a couple of wires are in place it gets pretty crowded. The three pot contacts are straightforward and easy to solder to, but the six holes for the switch contacts are anything but, unless you're an experienced solderer.

The ToneShaper Solution
Our pots use screw-down terminal blocks: insert the wire, tighten the screw, done! Easy peasy, and we even provide the screwdriver. The terminal block has nine slots: three for the pot, and six for the switch, so no soldering is required at all. Pay a few bucks extra and save yourself a bunch of hassle!

Option One: PP01 (500k)
We offer two versions of our push/pull. PP01 is just a straight-ahead push/pull, it does exactly what any push/pull pot does, nothing more and nothing less, but it's fully solderless.

Option Two: PP02 (Use as 500k or 250k)
Our PP02 pot is just like our PP01 but with several additional features built-in, and you can enable or defeat these options using the mini-DIP switches:

  • Engage a resistor to drop the pot loading from 500k to 250k
  • Built-in treble bleed may be engaged (when used as a volume control)
  • Choose from seven built-in capacitor values (when used as a tone control)

Not “indestructible” enough for my pup
Color: Printed, Pattern Name: Giraffe
My pup loves the toy but it is far from indestructible. Only took him 72 hours to rip the ears off & destroy the springy neck part of the toy. So although he enjoyed destroying it, It’s no longer safe for him to play with. For added context, he’s a little over a year old, 50pound, golden doodle puppy. He’s been going through a destructive phase for the last 7 months so this is like toy #30 thats failed it’s “indestructible” claims. The search for a indestructible toy continues!

Power Chewer Loves This!
Size: Medium, Color: Antler
This is my dog's new favorite chew! She loves that she can hold it in her paws. I think she really loves the taste and texture of it. I don't give her antlers as I have heard too many horror stories about broken teeth. I also don't give her nylon toys as I have also heard a lot of horror stories of broken teeth as well as concerns about them digesting the plastic. This is between antlers and bully sticks, which is perfect for a power chewer. I feel comfortable with her eating the pieces that flake off this toy. She loves chewing and she will default to this toy when she wants to help calm down. I don't notice much of a smell. It does flake, but not enough I will even take a star off. Plus, it's plant based and vacuums up easily once dried. It doesn't capture her attention as much as bully sticks or beef cheek chews, but it's much less expensive over time and doesn't stink up our living room! She will also always pick this over any of her rubber chews. Great product and recommend it for all the power chewers.

Crumbly, odd texture
Size: Large, Color: Duo Pack
Neither of my dogs were very interested in these. They did chew on the antler-shaped versions more so than the infinity-style versions. When they did chew on these, they didn’t hold up well or last long. These have a strange, crumbly texture when chewed. You’ll find bits and pieces of these chews where the dogs have been chewing. Will not be reordering.

This appears to be a good alternative to the hard plastic chew toys.
Size: Large, Color: Duo Pack
My dog is a heavy chewer. I decided to try this brand out after using a different brand for quite awhile. while my dog seems to like it and carries it around (the pretzel shaped one) he doesn't seem to attack it as whole heartedly as his old brand, I'm thinking it might be the shape, we will see when he wears it out and I switch him to the antler shape. What I like most about it is it doesn't tear my hand up like the other brand did after he had been chewing it for awhile. While it is wearing down some it seems to do it in a more mild manner. Since we haven't had it long I would give this 3.5 stars because I don't know if it will last as long and not sure f it is just the shape that has him more mellow with it.
