Low yield and very limited availability.
The mother plant is Carlablackiae RA10 S1 by Scott Cohen (@iamscottcohen), a super-select plant we personally picked during our visit to his nursery in Florida, USA. This is one of the roundest Carlablackiae in our collection, with excellent balance, symmetry and depth of colour. As many of you already know, round-leaf anthuriums are very much our weakness, and this RA10 remains one of our absolute favourites.
The pollen donor is (Dressleri x Carlablackiae) x BVEP, a hybrid created by Yolanda (@yolanda_picklesauce). This complex genetic combination brings together the elegance and presence of Dressleri, the form and structure of Carlablackiae, and the rich, velvety influence of BVEP. It is a highly desirable pollen donor and pairs exceptionally well with RA10.
Given the low seed yield and the calibre of the mother plant involved, we fully expect this cross to sell out quickly. A rare opportunity to secure seeds from a premium Carlablackiae-focused pairing with outstanding long-term potential.
