Little Gem Lettuce – Lactuca sativa
Small green romaine that form little “gem” hearts. Very productive, fast growing, and compact with a crispy, mild and juicy flavor.

SOW seeds in the cool weather of spring, fall, or mild winter at a depth of 1/8 inch and 6-8 inch spacing. Can be started indoors 4 to 6 weeks before planting out.

HARVEST full size heads before they begin to elongate by cutting at the base of the plant. Ready to harvest in just 45 to 65 days!

TIPS Lettuce seeds will not germinate in high temperatures. In warmer weather, cool the soil by supplying sufficient irrigation, planting in partial shade, or starting seeds indoors.
