Lavender Hidcote Blue This traditional old-favourite is one of the top-performing Lavenders with fantastic scent and striking blue flowers. It's proved itself in the garden so well the RHS have given this variety their Award of Garden Merit.
Hidcote Blue is drought tolerant and, as all Lavenders, fully frost hardy, so once planted in the garden it can be left pretty much to its own devices, requiring very little care. Keep it looking neat and trim by giving it a prune in the autumn and it will grow its wonderful flower back the following summer. They're adored by bees and butterflies too - you'll find them on the RHS Perfect for Pollinators list.
