Spreading seeds by hand is a learned art and must be done carefully to ensure even application and complete coverage. These seeds are extremely small and difficult to spread evenly by hand. Hand application often leads to clumping and over-seeding. For best results, use a bulking agent or carrier such as compost, sand, or sawdust. Our Easy Spread Shakers and our Easy Spread Bulk Containers include organic compost and soil builders to help spread the seeds easily.

- How To Start Your Flowering Lawn Journey -- No need to remove grass; simply mow existing grass very short, spread the flowering lawn seed into the grass evenly, water it, and watch it grow!

- Reduce Maintenance Costs -- Self-Heal reduces the need to mow. Once your flowering lawn is established, it won't require watering, except in periods of extended drought. Self-Heal flowering lawns are also deer resistant.
- What To Expect When Using Flawn Seed -- With regular watering, Self-Heal or All-Heal will germinate in 2-3 weeks, and plants will be small for the first couple of months. After the first growing season, it will bloom purple flowers with a touch of pink about 2-6" tall from June to August, creating a vital nectar and pollen source for our friendly pollinators. Watering regularly after seeding and through dry periods is critical for success.
- Pure Flower Seeds -- Unlike other brands, Flawn Seed doesn't use grass seed fillers. Our specialty seed contains Self Heal Seed. Flowering seeds have longer germination periods and mature slower than grasses. Mature flowering lawns with many blooms can take up to 6-24 months to fully establish, especially in thicker grass lawns that have been heavily fertilized in the past.
Seeding Information:
When to Seed: Spring, late summer, or early fall when rains are frequent and temperatures are moderate. Do not seed if a frost is forecast. Can also be dormant seeded on frozen ground.
Site Preparation: Mow at .5-1", remove clippings and rake any additional thatch. The soil must be visible and loosened up before seeding or seed will likely not grow.
Watering: Lightly water after seeding to start germination process. Prevent soil from completely drying out for a period of 1-2 weeks, then water as needed if seedlings start wilting.
Mowing: Maintain a height of 3" for the first year. This prevents the grass and any weeds from crowding out the baby Flawn seedlings.
Fertilizer: For lawns that have not been fertilized recently it may be beneficial to apply a low nitrogen organic fertilizer 2-3 months after seeding such as a 8-0-4 or similar.
Weed Control: It is best to remove excessive weeds by hand or natural methods before seeding. After seeding, remove unwanted weeds as desired. WARNING: Do not broadcast apply weed killers as they will kill the plants.

Wowsa! Need a minute to calm the racing heart. Loved Luke , Beckett and Hunter....loved little Charlie.....and loved Ali! Just a whole lot of sizzling rolled into an amazing story. Good grief. Gonna go read the bonus scene now!

Fast paced spicy read.
Format: Kindle
Luke owns a winery. His best friends Beckett and Hudson are helping him with the business, but he still needs help with his 4 year old son, Charlie. Ali is supposed to be applying to art school, but she is blocked. She hasn’t been able to find her creativity, so she interviews for a nanny position. Instantly, she finds herself attracted to Luke and Beckett, and falls in love with Charlie. Even after a disastrous interview, the guys find something intriguing about her and offer her the position. She has no choice to take the position because a wildfire quickly cuts off her route. Ali falls into a comfortable pattern with the guys. Taking care of Charlie, helping save the winery and growing closer to the guys. It doesn’t take long before she finds herself wrapped up with all the guys any chance they get. And surprisingly, she finds herself painting once again. Along the way, the guys help her realize that she truly belongs with them. The sexy times were hot with a few sexy surprises. The story was well written. It was a quick, spiced read.

Ali and the guys

The story of a lost art student that needs direction. Decides to nanny for a winery owner and his best friends/employees. Fires and lockdowns happen and relationships start. Lots of spice sometimes a little too much I found myself skimming over the parts. Happy ending

Artist Inspiration
Format: Kindle
Ali Fairfax is a twenty-seven year old painter. She is going to an interview for a job as a nanny. She wants to go to art college but has no portfolio pieces to submit. For the last year, her mind goes blank the second she picks up a brush. The nanny interview is at Ashford Winery.
Luke Ashford has a son named Charlie who is almost five. Beckett Montgomery is one of Luke’s best friends and he helps Luke run the winery. Hunter Jones is Luke’s other best friend and he is the marketing director for the winery. The men have been running the winery for the last year or so.
Charlie likes Ali and so does Luke, so he hires her. Charlie is into reptiles and he also makes Ali make a grilled cheese sandwich for his snack. Hunter comes in the kitchen to tell them that the winds have shifted and there are wildfires nearby. All the roads in or out of the valley are closed down for now. Ali is stuck at the winery with the men and Charlie.
Interesting dynamic between the three best friends. I loved that being stuck at the winery inspired Ali to start painting again. I enjoyed the story.
