Philodendron callosum is a terrestrial tropical plant featuring thick, elongated, and textured heart-shaped leaves. Unlike many other Philodendrons, it stays low to the ground rather than climbing. Native to Venezuela and northern South America, this plant is a striking addition to indoor collections due to its unique foliage and relatively easy care requirements.

Native to: Philodendron callosum is found in the tropical rainforests of northern South America, particularly in Venezuela. It grows naturally in the humid understory, either on the ground or as an epiphyte on other plants.

Water: The plant requires regular watering but should not sit in soggy soil. Water when the top 2-3 cm of soil is dry. In warmer months, this might mean watering 1-2 times a week, but in winter, reduce the frequency to prevent waterlogging.

Light: Philodendron callosum thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves, so it’s best to keep it in a spot where it receives filtered light or use grow lights if needed.

Humidity: This plant prefers higher humidity, around 50-60%. Mist the leaves regularly or place the plant near a humidifier to maintain moisture. Grouping with other plants can also help raise humidity levels.

Temperature: It thrives in temperatures between 18°C and 27°C. Keep it in a warm, stable environment, avoiding cold drafts or temperature fluctuations, especially during winter.

Great Value
Style: PA99892
Great value. Dealer wants $75 to replace engine filter. The filter is just as good as the OEM one. Total time to install is less than 3 minutes.

fits like OEM
Style: PA99892
This fits a 2023 Civic Sport Touring without issue. It looks indistinguishable to the OEM filter. Getting the lid off the airbox is the hardest part as it is wedged in there pretty good. Other than that, this is a very do-able DIY job, and it's a lot cheaper than having the dealer do it. I have no concerns. Thumbs up.
