Scientific name: Ficus benghalensis
Synonyms: Ficus Audrey, Bengal Fig, Strangler Fig, Banyan tree

  • Tropical Jungle look
  • Unique veined foliage
  • Versatile statement houseplant
  • Plant Level: Easy

Ficus benghalensis is native to Southern Asia and forms some of the largest canopy trees in their natural environment. But rest assured, when grown indoors they make excellent potted plants (and won’t engulf your spaces!). If you are a fan of easy-going, highly collectable houseplants, this is the one for you.

Claimed to be the next Fiddle Leaf Fig in terms of its popularity, this beguiling foliage plant will make a statement in any room. Audrey enjoys indirect light and moderate humidity; well suited to a home environment but be sure to keep away from heaters and cold draughts.

Watering is a breeze - just wait until the top layer of soil has dried out before watering thoroughly using water at room temperature, and don’t allow the plant to sit in water. You can keep the velvety leaves free from dust by giving your Ficus an occasional shower.

Ficus benghalensis has a versatile upright growth habit and can either grow up a pole support or be pruned and allowed to branch into a tree-like form. This makes it highly adaptable in your home.

Its ideal location could be as a stunning statement houseplant in your living space, which transitions through different spaces as it ages: on a tabletop when smaller, and later at floor level as it matures. This will be a plant you can enjoy for many years to come.

Please note; these plants are harmful if eaten and are a skin/eye irritant, so keep out of reach of children and pets.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Ficus Audrey healthy and happy.

Water: Water regularly during the growing season, but leave the soil to dry out slightly between watering. Water less in winter.
Light: Likes bright, indirect light best. Can handle a little full sun.
Humidity: Average household humidity. Does appreciate being misted now and then.
Fertilize: Feed the Ficus Audrey about once a month with a diluted balanced feed.

Great fun for dogs!
Color: Orange
Two of our dogs really love this! It caused a lot of barking and chasing and running around trying to grab it. It's really funny to use the remote to control it (and especially make it stop when things get a little too chaotic!) It feels durable even when pawed and bumped into and stepped on. The battery life seems good. I plugged it in overnight to charge so not sure how long it took to charge, but it has lasted quite a while with the dogs playing with it and still doesn't need a charge. It's easy to screw off one side of the ball to plug it in to charge. The size is a little bigger than a tennis ball I would say and has a soft texture.

It doesn't work.
Color: Blue
The two halves of the ball shell come apart again and again when the dog plays with them. When it is time to recharge the core, it will not take a charge. The dog loves it, but it's unsafe to play with.

My dogs fight over it
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
Easy to use, durable, and has a great battery love. At first my dogs were curious and unsure about it, now its become one of their favorite toys. They'll stare at it while its being charged and impatiently wait for it so they can have fun again. Perfect size for most breeds.

Great dog birthday gift
Love it. Is it the best ball ever? No. I love it because my dog can find it if he lost track of it while I was poorly throwing the ball. Also, if it starta getting dark out and he has it in his mouth, I know exactly where he is. The glow is great! Pretty bright, changes colors, activatws after a hard bounce. Changing the battery is easy and just takes a screwdriver. Bounce is pretty good. Dog really likes it. He likes things that glow. It has held up so far, and one of the other dogs, who likes to destroy things, got ahold of it. He is working on not wrecking things, but I know he tried for a little bit and there has been no damage. The ball does have quite a bit of heft to it, so a small-ish dog isn't going to like the size or weight, likely.
