Stunning cycad

Although Sago Palms resemble palm trees, they actually belong to the cycad family. The name Sago Palm comes from their similarity to palm trees; however, they are genetically closer to pine trees than palm trees!

Native to Japan and Southern China, Sago Palm Trees are remarkably resilient and among the oldest living plants on the planet. They are often referred to as “living fossils”, because they have existed for over 10 million years, with their genetic composition largely unchanged.

The Sago Palm is a low growing plant with a stout trunk and long, feathery leaves that resemble palm fronds. They have dark green arching leaves that form in a circular pattern from the center, giving the plant a tropical and exotic appearance. This is the reason why people refer to it as a Sago Palm tree- it looks like a compact adult palm.

King Sago Palm trees are slow growing, easy to maintain plants that thrive both as houseplants and when planted on the ground outdoors. They are often planted in containers and used as patio palms or indoor plants. They are very adaptable, and with proper care and suitable conditions, they can live up to 200 years.

The King Sago Palm reaches sizes of up to 10-12 feet when in hot-humid weather and planted on the ground. However, they are so slow growing it takes them up to 50 years to reach their mature height. Although they can grow up to 12 feet, they are usually found at average heights of 6-7 feet, and grow at a rate of 6-10 inches per year.

The tropical palm-like cycad makes an eye-catching specimen, accent plant, used along a border or highlighting an entryway. It also grows well in containers or as a houseplant. It is worth noting that Sago Palms are toxic to both animals and humans when ingested, especially the seed.

If you’re looking for an exotic looking evergreen plant with an architectural beauty, the Sago Palm is perfect for you.

Good quality bags
I'm far from a professional coffee roaster, but I do enjoy it. I used to use just little plastic bags when giving coffee to friends and family, but these work so much better! They are quite thick and just feel like they're quality. I do not have a mylar sealer, but I did figure out that a vacuum heat sealer will work. Just gotta run the heat part a couple times. Probably not as good as a real mylar sealer, but it works. Again, I'm not professional. I like that, being black bags, they include a roll of labels. Hard to write on black, so this was a nice addition. Overall, these are great bags.

The valve allows for the release of carbon dioxide gas while preventing oxygen from entering the bag
Note that you will need a heat sealer to seal these bags. The high-barrier aluminum foil construction of these bags provides excellent protection against moisture, oxygen, and light, which are the primary factors that can degrade the quality and freshness of coffee beans. The side zipper design and heat sealable feature ensure a tight seal, effectively preventing any air from entering or escaping the bag. The inclusion of a valve allows for the release of carbon dioxide gas while preventing oxygen from entering the bag, further preserving the flavor and aroma of the coffee beans. These bags are really great for storing coffee.

Nice design, easy to pour, smooth coffee.
This is a really great design. We've been using this since July of 2024 and it's come in really handy for daily coffee making. Much smoother than a drip machine, and less coffee is needed. This starts the journey coffee making artisans.

Just the perfect size!
Love the size of the carafe. Smaller than expected but that was what I was hoping for. A good 2½ to 3 cups full. Looks modern and Chic and blends in with all the other stainless steel appliances in my kitchen.

It's nice, but the glass is super thin
Everything about this is built really well, except the glass. I'll get into the glass at the end of this, so stick with me. The stand is real heavy and overbuilt if you ask me, but that makes it super stable. The rubber mat on the bottom is a nice touch. The rubber that holds the metal cone on the stand keeps it stable too. The cone works great with #4 coffee filters (I've got a mess of them). They're a bit big but they still fit. I actually use it a lot of times without the stand because I weigh my water as I add it. The cone fits nicely right in the top of the glass. The glass though. It's SUPER thin. I've had a Chemex knock-off that was slightly thicker than this break just from setting it on the counter wrong. I'm just waiting for this thing to shatter on me for no reason. This would be a great unit if that glass wasn't so thin.
