About Sedum 'Major' (4 inches)

Cultivated throughout the world for its ornamental value, Sedum 'Major' belongs to the genus Sedum in the Crassulaceae family. Sedum 'Major' has fleshy leaves that are round or ovate and bluish green. The leaves are arranged in a distinct spiral. Sedum 'Major' is unique in that it reproduces easily and easily produces runners or miniature plants that grow from the base of the main plant, which can be separated and planted to produce new plants. Star-shaped flowers, which range in color from white to pale pink, appear in clusters at the top of Sedum 'Major's stems in summer, adding to its ornamental value and making it a favorite among succulent plant lovers. Sedum 'Major's care methods can be referred to Sedum 'Minor'.

How to Care for Sedum 'Major'

Sunlight/Position: Sedum 'Major' prefers bright, direct sunlight and requires at least 4-6 hours of sunlight per day to thrive. Place this lovely plant in a sunny location both indoors and outdoors, but avoid strong afternoon sun and high temperatures. Sedum 'Major' should be gradually acclimated to increased light levels to prevent sunburn and other damage during hot summers. Move it to a sunnier location to make up for the shorter days and lower light levels during cold winters.

Soil/Potting: Sedum 'Major' requires a well-drained, sandy or gravelly soil. A suitable soil mixture can be prepared by mixing together equal parts standard potting mix, sand, and perlite. Repotting in the warm spring or early summer is necessary only when the plant outgrows its container. During repotting, any damaged or dead roots should be pruned back to prevent bacterial or fungal diseases. With the right soil mixture and proper care, S. Dasyphyllum 'Major' can thrive and become a stunning addition to any succulent collection.

Watering: S. Dasyphyllum 'Major' requires small and infrequent watering to prevent overwatering, which can damage the roots and cause the plant to rot. The plant should only be watered when the soil is completely dry, which can be determined by touching the soil or using a moisture meter. Water in the morning rather than in the evening to allow this lovely plant to absorb moisture before the day gets hot. Also, excess water should be removed from the tray or tray under the pot to prevent root rot.

Humidity: S. Dasyphyllum 'Major' prefers dry conditions with low to moderate humidity. Ideally, the plant should be grown in a location with a relative humidity of 30% or less. High humidity can cause the plant to develop fungal diseases or rot, especially if the soil remains moist. Also, proper air circulation helps maintain humidity around the plant and prevents stagnant air that can cause moisture to accumulate.

Pest Control: S. Dasyphyllum 'Major' is generally a hardy plant that is rarely affected by pests. However, it is occasionally affected by common succulent pests, such as mealybugs, scale insects, and spider mites. Plants need to be checked regularly for signs of pest infestation, such as sticky or discolored leaves, webs, or small insects on leaves or stems.

My go-to sublimation paper for crafting
Size: 8.5"x11"
I've used several sublimation papers, and this one has worked really well for my crafting projects. The colors transfer bright and vibrant, and the images come out crisp with good detail when using the proper sublimation printer and ink. The paper feeds smoothly through my printer and feels like a good quality weight—not too thin and not overly thick. I've used it for tumblers, keychains, and other sublimation projects, and I've been happy with the results. I also appreciate getting 110 sheets in one pack because it lasts a while, especially when working on multiple projects at once. Overall, this is a reliable sublimation paper that gives consistent results and is great for crafters or small business owners.

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches. I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces. If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Best Sublimation Paper
Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper. When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
