Once they mature, the armed trunks actually start dropping their spines. Trithrinax brasiliensis, at 20' tall, is slightly smaller than Trithinax acanthocoma. The leaves are also much more dissected and more glaucous than Trithrinax acanthacoma. When mature, you'll enjoy the attractive white inflorescense. Slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soils are best. This is a one time offer, if you want to try them along with us.
