Senecio ficoides (now classified as Curio) ‘Mount Everest’ is a striking, architectural succulent loved for its tall, upright blue-grey stems that look almost sculptural. With a clean, modern silhouette and powdery glaucous colour, this plant brings effortless elegance to shelves, desks, and bright windowsills. Its columns grow in tidy clusters, creating a cool, minimalist look that pairs beautifully with terracotta and neutral ceramics. Incredibly low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, ‘Mount Everest’ is perfect for beginners, collectors, and anyone craving a sleek, easy-care plant with personality.
Light: This plant is perfect for a dappled patio when grown outdoors or a bright spot indoors.
Watering: Wait until the soil is arid, then give it a good watering. This plant is drought tolerant and is not keen on sitting in wet soil for long periods.
Temperature: This is a cold hardy plant, so it can go down to -6.7° C IF it's kept dry, so place it in a spot that it won't sop up all that rain but still gets the light it needs overwinter.
Potting: A terracotta pot and succulent mix are ideal for these. Our Savvy Succa mix does the trick for this plant.
Hot tips: Keep this beauty in bright light, and it will be a happy plant.
Pet Friendly: Nope
