ONE INGREDIENT | 100% cold-pressed EU organic wild-grown prickly pear cactus seed oil.

SOURCING | We cold-press our Barie oil from the seeds of the prickly pear cacti, wild grown in Mediterranean Tunisia. It takes over 5 tonnes of fruit to make just 1 quart of oil. It is a very labor-intensive process and it takes millions of seeds to make just one liter of oil and hundreds of hours of labor to collect the fruit, extract and dry the pulp, and then cold-press the seeds when they are dried. Then oil has to settle for about 3 weeks to arrive golden-yellow and clear in color.

We source all our oils freshly cold-pressed from our oil makers. Barie maker also happens to hold a Ph.D. in Physics. He takes oils very seriously!
