Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) is an evergreen shrub growing to 3.3 to 9.8 ft tall, rarely 13 ft. The stems of the plant bear dark green leaves with two opposite lanceolate leaflets joined at the base. The flowers are up to 0.98 in in diameter, with five yellow petals.*

Strength: Dry plant material / solvents ratio 1:3 w/v.

Additional information about ingredients: Contains NO Alcohol, GMO, gluten, heavy metals, artificial colors, preservatives or synthetic fertilizers.
Indications: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.
Safety Information:
Skin Sensitivity: Some individuals may experience skin irritation or allergic reactions when using chaparral topically. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and consult a healthcare professional.
Photosensitivity: Chaparral contains compounds that may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet (UV) light after applying chaparral to the skin. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors.
Potential Risks of Internal Use:
Liver Toxicity: Chaparral contains compounds known as nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA) and sesquiterpene lactones, which have been associated with hepatotoxicity (liver toxicity) in some individuals. Prolonged or excessive internal use of chaparral may increase the risk of liver damage or liver failure.
Kidney Damage: Some cases of kidney damage, have been reported in individuals who have ingested chaparral supplements.
Gastrointestinal Upset: Chaparral ingestion may cause gastrointestinal side effects that may be indicative of toxicity and should be taken seriously.
Important Note: Due to these potential risks, internal use of chaparral is not recommended without the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional! Individuals with pre-existing liver or kidney conditions, pregnant or nursing women, and children should avoid internal use of chaparral altogether.
Suggested use and dosage: Shake well before use. Suggested for external use. Do not use on open wounds.
