Not particular about soil type, Stonecrop prefers average moisture and any kind of well-drained soil, but can also tolerate poor or rocky soils. In fact, Sedum grown in organically rich soil are actually lanky and weak-stemmed. Growing about 12-15 inches tall and 18 inches wide, these adaptable, hardy perennials bloom from late summer through autumn.
