Graptoveria titubans f. variegata is an elegant and bright indoor succulent, prized for its compact rosettes with variegated pastel hues. Its mix of pale green, cream, pink, and sometimes blue-grey gives it a delicate and very decorative appearance, ideal for succulent collections.
Origin: Variegated form of Graptoveria titubans, a horticultural hybrid of the genera Graptopetalum and Echeveria, native to Mexico.
Growth: Slow to moderate growth. It forms rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves, pale green to blue-grey, mottled with cream and sometimes tinged with pink under strong light. Over time, the plant can produce multiple rosettes and form a small, compact colony.
Flowers: Occasional flowering on mature plants. It can produce a slender flower stalk bearing small, star-shaped flowers in pale yellow to orange tones.
Light: Requires bright to direct sunlight. Excellent light helps maintain variegation and intensifies the pink hues of the foliage. An effective horticultural lamp can also be used indoors.
Watering: Water only when the substrate is completely dry. Like all succulents, it tolerates drought very well and is highly susceptible to overwatering. Space out waterings more when growth slows down.
Substrate: Use a very well-draining succulent potting mix, ensuring excellent root aeration and preventing any stagnant moisture.
Toxicity: Non-toxic to humans and animals.
