| How to Sow: |
Sow your seeds from March to May directly into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of 6mm and covered lightly. Germination takes 10-14 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to 75-100mm spacing. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushiness and cut flowers for the vase regularly to encourage further blooms. Alternatively, these can be started early indoors 6-8 weeks prior to the last frost. Or, sow in September for flowers June-August the following year. immediately to propagate more plants for the following year. |
