The mother plant is BVEP x Carlablackiae, and the pollen donor is the original Night Dragon clone from Siam Flora. Jorge (@anthuriumstory) was the first and for a long time the only grower in the United States with the true original Night Dragon. Even now, only a few others own it in USA, all acquired directly through him.
Night Dragon, being a sibling of RVDP but with even darker foliage and stronger red veining, brings exceptional colour potential to this cross. Combined with the structure, texture, and sinus traits from BVEP x Carlablackiae, this hybrid is expected to mature into an outstanding plant.
