Wrangler Bermuda Grass Seed (Certified Coated)

Origin - Oklahoma

Wrangler Bermuda Grass Seed an improved seeded forage-type bermudagrass with superior cold tolerance was developed by Johnston Seed Company using breeding lines licensed by Oklahoma State University.

Wrangler bermuda grass is the cattleman's choice for high quality forage in the tough growing conditions of the transition and southern zones. Wrangler Bermuda Grass excels in states from Kansas east to Virginia where other bermuda grasses typically fail. Wrangler Bermuda grass is similar in appearance to Coastal and Tifton 44 Bermuda varieties. Wrangler Bermuda grass is much more cold tolerant than the older Bermuda grass pasture and hay varieties.

Wrangler Bermuda has consistently outperformed Guymon, Mirage, and Cheyenne in the test. The overall performance of Wrangler is comparative to Tifton 44 in the forage trials. The performance of Wrangler has been exceptional for a seeded variety when compared to the hybrid vegetative types.

New Pastures: Plant 10 - 12 lbs. per acre. Plant at 1/8" on heavy soils an 1/4" on sandy soils.

Wrangler Bermuda should be planted in Late spring when soil temperatures are 65 degrees fahrenheit or above. Planting through summer months are successful if moisture is avaliable for germination and seeding establishment. Prepare a firm seed bed free of weeds and clods to provide good soil to seed contact. Ph should be checked prior to planting. A range of 6.0 to 7.5 is sufficient.

Maintenance:
A fertilizer low in nitrogen but high in phosphorous and potassium is recommended as a starter fertilizer to promote seedling vigor without promoting excessive weed growth. Increase nitrogen as seedlings develop and a sod forms.

Weed Control: Not recommended in the seedling stage except for very light applications of 2-4 D to control broadleaf weeds. Residual herbicides are not recommended in the first 60 days.

Irrigation: If applicable, keep soil moist for germination, as seedlings develop reduce frequency of watering but increase the amount.

Harvesting Schedule: Every 30 to 60 days depending on fertility and soil moisture. As a rule, the more frequent cuttings provide higher quality forage with less total dry matter while less frequent cuttings reduce quality but increase dry matter production.

Wrangler is an excellent choice for pasture, hay, or soil conservation in temperate and subtropical regions. Wrangler is well adapted to the transition zone of the United States (OK, KS, MO, AR, TN, VA, etc.) where winterkill of Arizona common and other bermudagrass is a problem.

CULTURAL PRACTICES
Fertility: A total of 100 to 200 lb./ac/year (112 to 224 kg/ha/year) of actual Nitrogen is recommended based on expected precipitation and level of dry matter production or quality desired. The Nitrogen should be split into at least two applications, the first in early spring and the second in mid summer. Minimum soil levels of 65 lb./acre phosphorous and 200 lb. /acre Potassium should be maintained for maximum production at the desired Nitrogen level.

The Best for My Furry Friend
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
As a pet owner who always seeks the best for my furry friend, I decided to try out the Scott Pet GRILLERZ Pig Ears 12CT, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. **Quality and Flavor:** The pig ears come in a pack of twelve, and each ear is substantial in size and weight, indicating a high-quality product. My dog was instantly attracted to the aroma and flavor. Unlike some other treats, these pig ears are roasted to perfection, ensuring a rich and savory taste that my dog can't get enough of. **Health Benefits:** One of the standout features of Scott Pet GRILLERZ Pig Ears is their natural composition. They are free from artificial preservatives, flavors, and colors, making them a healthy and safe option for my dog. Additionally, these treats help promote dental health by reducing plaque and tartar buildup as my dog chews on them. **Longevity:** These pig ears are long-lasting, providing my dog with hours of enjoyment. This is particularly beneficial for keeping him occupied and mentally stimulated, which is crucial for his overall well-being. I have found that one ear can keep my dog entertained for a significant amount of time, making it a cost-effective treat option. **Packaging:** The packaging is sturdy and resealable, ensuring the treats remain fresh between uses. This is a thoughtful touch that I appreciate, as it maintains the quality of the product over time. **Price:** Considering the quality and quantity of the pig ears, the price point is quite reasonable. It offers great value for money, especially when compared to other similar products on the market. **Conclusion:** Overall, the Scott Pet GRILLERZ Pig Ears 12CT are a fantastic choice for any dog owner looking to provide their pet with a delicious and healthy treat. The quality, flavor, and health benefits make it a top-notch product that I highly recommend. My dog loves them, and I am confident that your pet will too!

Healthy, natural treat my dogs actually love—no mess!
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
These pig ears are the perfect natural alternative to rawhide. All three of my dogs go crazy for them, and I feel good giving them a single-ingredient treat. What I used them for: Occasional chew treats for my three dogs. Pros: Single-ingredient, natural treat Dogs love the taste and texture Doesn’t stain or leave a mess despite slobber Good size for medium to large dogs Cons: Can be a bit odorous out of the bag (minor) Real experience: I’ve given these to all three dogs multiple times, and each one enjoys them equally. Unlike some rawhide or flavored chews, these don’t leave stains or get mushy—cleanup is easy, which I really appreciate. Comparison: Much healthier and cleaner than rawhide chews or flavored alternatives, but still keeps dogs occupied for a similar amount of time. Final verdict: If you want a natural, low-mess chew for dogs who love to gnaw, these pig ears are a solid choice.

Nice Enough for the price!
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
Good price, not all are big though. But, they look like nice pigs ears and we got 13 instead of 12 (Oliver is eating one as I type so it’s not include in my pic, lol). I will order another bag fr his Christmas gift to share with his dog buddies.

Yummy pigs ear
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
These are my dogs "special" treat. These range in size from large to small ears but my dog loves them all the same. Great for heavy chewers.

One-and-done treat for giant breeds (our 186lb foster approves)
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
We foster a 186lb Saint Bernard, and finding treats that actually satisfy her without requiring half the bag has been a challenge. These pig ears? Game changer. What makes these work: - ONE ear = one satisfied dog (compared to other treats where the bag says “35 per day” and she’d still beg for more) - Keeps her busy for about 5 minutes of focused chewing - She does a little excited dance when she sees the bag—can’t even sit, just wiggles - Zero crumbs or mess because she devours every single bit, then spends the next hour sniffing around hoping another one appears - She immediately grabs it and heads to her favorite bed to settle in—doesn’t move until it’s gone The only “issue”: There’s a bit of oil/greasiness when handling them, but nothing a quick hand wash can’t fix (Mrs. Meyer’s Cucumber soap works great, just saying). Bottom line: If you have a giant breed and you’re tired of buying treats that require multiple servings or disappear in one bite, these are it. One ear, complete satisfaction, Subscribe & Save so they just show up like a present you forgot you ordered. Our girl Ellie gives them 186 pounds of approval.
