Lush. Regal. Unmistakable. The Calathea Medallion is one of the most iconic and eye-catching members of the prayer plant family. Its broad, round leaves feature vibrant green feathered patterns on top and rich purple undersides beneath—creating the illusion of hand-painted foliage. It’s nature’s version of luxury wallpaper.
A true classic among low-light tropicals, Calathea Medallion thrives in bright, indirect to medium light with consistent moisture and humidity. Its leaves gracefully fold upward at night and open again by day, bringing gentle, rhythmic movement to your space. Pet-safe and air-purifying, it’s the perfect choice for adding bold color and elegance to modern homes, plant displays, or thoughtful gifts.
