String of Hearts (Ceropegia woodii): The Cascading Beauty with a Romantic Touch

The String of Hearts isn’t just a houseplant—it’s a statement. With its delicate heart-shaped leaves cascading down in long, trailing vines, this plant is made for those who appreciate beauty with an effortless touch. Whether you’re hanging it in a sunny window, draping it over a bookshelf, or letting it spill over the edge of a tall planter, the String of Hearts will always command attention in the most subtle, elegant way.

What Makes the String of Hearts Special?

Effortless Beauty & Easy Care Enjoy the elegance of trailing greenery without the constant upkeep. The String of Hearts grows quickly yet remains remarkably low-maintenance, thriving with minimal watering and bright indirect sunlight. Perfect for busy plant lovers who crave lush greenery without the hassle.

Resilient & Drought-Friendly Despite its delicate, charming look, the String of Hearts is surprisingly resilient. Its semi-succulent, heart-shaped leaves store water efficiently, allowing the plant to handle occasional neglect gracefully—ideal for those new to plant care or with busy lifestyles.

Stunning, One-of-a-Kind Foliage Each vine boasts uniquely patterned, heart-shaped leaves with captivating silver marbling on deep green surfaces. The undersides vary from soft lavender to vibrant magenta, creating a striking, pearl-like appearance. No two plants look exactly alike, bringing authentic charm to any space.

Ideal for Hanging Displays The String of Hearts shines in hanging baskets or on elevated shelves, effortlessly cascading several feet with delicate vines. It's the perfect plant to enhance your decor, providing a natural, bohemian aesthetic that's both trendy and timeless.

Enchanting Blooms While its leaves often take center stage, the plant also produces charming, lantern-shaped flowers. These whimsical, tubular blossoms appear in soft shades of pink or purple, adding a quirky and delightful detail to your indoor garden.

Where Should You Place Your String of Hearts?

  • Bright, Indirect Light: This plant thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and can even handle a few hours of direct sun each day. A south- or west-facing window is ideal.
  • Trailing Over Bookshelves or Cabinets: Let the vines spill over the edge of a high shelf for a cascading effect.
  • In a Hanging Basket: A perfect choice for small spaces where you want to maximize vertical greenery.
  • As a Tabletop Accent: If you prefer a shorter plant, you can let it grow in a small pot and trim the vines occasionally to maintain a compact look.

Is the String of Hearts Pet-Friendly?

Good news—it’s non-toxic to pets! If you have curious cats or dogs, you don’t need to worry about them nibbling on this plant.

Why Choose String of Hearts Over Other Trailing Plants?

  • More Drought-Tolerant than pothos or philodendron.
  • Lighter & Airier than string of pearls, with a softer cascading effect.
  • Unique Heart-Shaped Leaves add a romantic, whimsical touch.
  • Easier to Propagate than many other vining plants, making it perfect for sharing with friends.

Buy 2 at a time for a fun experience
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
What’s better than 1 toy? Answer: 2 toys! I love using two at a time. More stimulation and fun! We use these to get all the energy out before nap time. They keep him occupied and running in two different directions. The rope part of the toy is the perfect size for him to grab onto. It came with a replacement for a wheel and rope and haven’t had to replace it yet. Toy has held up with daily play and still works perfectly.

How many dog toys have you bought that just laid on the floor unused?
Color: Orange
New husky has more energy than an entire pre-school - even being walked more than three miles a day wasn’t sufficient to drain her excess energy. I threw the dice on this - and it’s AWESOME. Comes with an extra rope and an extra side piece. Rechargeable with a USB-C cable. When you turn it on, the blue LEDs flash, the entire device buzzes, bounces, and races back and forth across the floor. After a couple of days of uncertainty, my new husky LOVES this. She chases it around, grabs it by the attached rope and carries it from room to room. After a short bit of activity, the toy goes into ‘sleep’ mode, until either the dog touches it again or a timer has elapsed, and then it fires up and starts buzzing and racing around the floor again. From a full charge, the toy will keep your dog entertained all day. Bright orange color makes it much easier to find when it’s rolled behind the toilet (as it did this afternoon). Sturdy. Highly resistant to chew damage. If this one wears out or breaks, I’ll absolutely get another one.

Puppy interactive toy
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
It’s a great toy as it keeps my 5 month old puppy very entertained! It is pretty hardy and made of good material as she tries to throw it around and chew it. She does swing it around and the hard part will hit her. She doesn’t seem bothered by it tho lol good size and minimum noise When I first introduced her to it she was a little scared but now she gets excited to play with it once it finishes charging.

Cool toy. Fun for all
Color: Blue
A cool toy. entertainment for the dogs but more so for the dog parents to watch the dogs reaction. Comes with an additional rope just in case, which I loved. Only side note I would say is that the fast mood could be a little faster. My Golden retriever figured out the speed in less than 24 hours and now picks up the toy to try to chew it up, instead of chasing. With him attempting to chew on the toy in the small time I give him, there are no teeth marks yet…this toy appears to be durable. We play in short increments but enjoy the toy.

Fun toy, but not durable for large heavy chewers
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
I bought this for my 80+ pound Goldendoodle, and he absolutely loved it at first. He barked at it, chased it, and it gave him some great exercise and stimulation. It definitely kept his attention and was fun to watch him play with it. Unfortunately, once he was able to get it in his mouth, he chewed the orange end off fairly quickly. The company does include an extra replacement piece, which is actually a great idea and appreciated. However, he ended up chewing that one up too after a few more play sessions. This toy worked well for short-term play and entertainment, but it’s not durable enough for large dogs with strong chewing habits. I think this would be much better suited for small to medium dogs. Great concept, but I would not repurchase for a heavy chewer. Picture of my dog for size reference!! 🫶🐶
