Our Ficus Elastica Burgundy is the perfect addition to any home or office. When properly cared for, this plant can grow to be quite large, up to 2m, creating a real statement.

Positioning your Ficus Elastica in bright indirect sunlight is key to success, so that it doesn't receive too much of the hot sun. Luckily it doesn't need a lot of water and prefers a free-draining soil mix so is tailored to those with little experience in indoor plant keeping. With all the beauty and ease of care, the Ficus Elastica Burgundy is a go-to for any indoor plant lover!

Position Keep in some direct sunlight or provide artificial light.
Temperature Temperatures above 20c will speed up growth, between 10 and 20c growth will be slow and plants can be pruned to keep compact.
Water Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums, potting mix should be allowed to almost dry between waterings. Keep on the dry side in winter.
Fertiliser Weak dose regularly in warmer months. Only fertilise if you would like the plant to grow. Less fertiliser will keep plants shorter and more compact.
Repotting Only when plant is well advanced in pot or mid-spring.

With that, I have noticed the higher levels are challenging, and my Aussie has yet to get through them all. Eventually he gets bored and stops trying. It is a high-quality, fun, and engaging toy that provides mental stimulation, holds up to rough play, and is easy for me to maintain. Definitely one of the best puzzle toys I have tried!
