🌞 Light & Placement
Thrives in bright light with some direct sun to maintain vibrant variegation. Ideal for south or west-facing windows in German apartments.
💧 Water & Humidity
Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly and ensure the pot has excellent drainage. Prefers low to average indoor humidity.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Use a gritty, well-draining cactus or succulent mix. Repot in spring only when pot-bound to refresh soil and encourage healthy trailing growth.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets and children to ensure safety.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
Propagate easily by laying cuttings on moist soil to root. Trails up to 30 cm or more, creating cascading displays over time.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
Reduce watering in winter when growth slows. Rotate occasionally to ensure even light exposure and balanced growth.
🐛 Common Issues
Watch for root rot from overwatering and mealybugs between beads. Always allow soil to dry thoroughly and inspect regularly.
