A Cool-Tolerant, Elegant Umbrella Tree for Bright Spaces
The Alpine Schefflera, a newer introduction compared to the well-known Schefflera arboricola (Dwarf Umbrella Tree), brings a unique beauty to the houseplant world. Native to the mountainous regions of Vietnam, this variety offers the same umbrella-like growth pattern you love—paired with attractive foliage reminiscent of a Ficus Audrey. Its standout feature? Enhanced cold tolerance, making it a versatile choice for a wider range of indoor environments.
This lush, tropical-looking plant thrives in medium to bright indirect light and prefers soil that stays consistently moist but never soggy. With proper care, it rewards you with elegant, layered foliage and steady vertical growth. A must-have for collectors and anyone wanting a striking, low-maintenance greenery statement.
