Piper nigrum, commonly known as black pepper, is a perennial climbing vine native to the southwestern region of India. This plant is famous for its small, round, pungent berries that, when dried, become the peppercorns we use as a popular spice around the world. The black pepper vine features heart-shaped leaves and aerial roots that aid in its climbing habit. It produces white flowers that develop into small green berries, which turn red when fully ripe. These red berries are harvested and then dried, yielding black peppercorns. Black pepper is a vital and versatile spice used in a wide range of cuisines and culinary dishes. It thrives in tropical, humid climates and is cultivated in various countries, contributing significantly to the global spice trade. Beyond its culinary use, black pepper is also valued for its medicinal properties and has a long history of traditional use for various health benefits. Zones 10-11

Germination

Germinating Piper nigrum, commonly known as black pepper, from seeds, involves several key steps. To enhance germination, soak the seeds in lukewarm water for about 24 hours. This softens the seed coat and helps initiate the germination process. Next, plant the seeds in a well-draining, light potting mix, covering them with a thin layer of soil, as they require light to germinate. Maintain a warm and consistently humid environment, ideally with temperatures around 80-85°F (27-29°C). You can create a greenhouse-like effect by covering the planting container with plastic wrap or a plastic bag to preserve moisture. Germination may take several weeks to a few months, so patience is essential. Once the seedlings have developed several true leaves and are robust enough to handle, they can be transplanted into individual containers or directly into the garden. Proper care and attention to humidity and temperature during the germination process will increase the likelihood of successful black pepper plant growth.

This is more like a long cardigan sweater, than a coat.
Size: Small, Color: #2 Blackandwhite
This is more like a long cardigan sweater, than a coat. It doesn't have much structure & the pocket placement is too high for a coat. That being said, it's very soft & comfortable. As far as sizing goes, the sleeves run a bit long, but the coat, itself, runs a bit tight. I'm 5'10'' and a small fit me, but I wouldn't be able wear anything very thick under it & I'm thin. It's light & machine washable. I almost kept it to wear as a long sweater, but it looks like a coat ,so I sent it back. If you're very thin with long arms and don't mind the pockets being a bit high, then this could be a very stylish piece for you. Otherwise, I would pass.

i would definitely recommend. stick with your regular size or size up for a less slim fit
Size: Small, Color: Black
I usually wear a medium, I ordered a small based on reading the reviews. I am 150lbs 5’4”. this coat fits great for me personally. it’s not bulky, it’s not baggy. it is a slim fit jacket, definitely more on the slender side. when i raise my arms above my head , the sleeves do come up a bit. I would suggest sticking to your normal size or if you want a less slim fit with a tiny bit more room, sizing up wouldn’t be an issue. the coat is super soft and has some weight to it. i would recommend this jacket, it is warm and a nice piece for formal attire.

Black mens coat
I didn't expect such good quality from such an inexpensive black coat, stylish, neat, looks expensive, none of my friends believed that I bought it so cheaply! No pellets appeared after a year and a half of use
