THE SOLUTION Stover Seed, in collaboration with Pollinator Partnership (a nonprofit dedicated to pollinator health and conservation), developed a series of regionally specific native plant-pollinator seed mixes. Our goal was to provide an ideal wildflower habitat for home gardens by giving pollinators a diversity of flowers that are native to each region and will bloom across growing seasons.
What makes these mixtures special?
Pollinator Partnership’s biologists developed and met the following criteria for each regional mixture:
- Contains a minimum of 9 species
- Provides a minimum of 3 blooming species each season—spring, summer, and fall.
- Contains no invasive species
- All species are native to each specific region.
- Ecologically designed to provide floral resources for a diversity of pollinator species.

Pollinator Partnership is a non-profit 501(c) organization—the largest in the world dedicated exclusively to the protection and promotion of pollinators and their ecosystems. Their mission is to promote the health of pollinators that are critical to food and ecosystems through conservation, education, and research.
