PMS is not inevitable — and it's not just "being a woman." The mood swings, bloating, breast tenderness, fatigue, and emotional volatility that arrive like clockwork before your period are hormonal signals: your progesterone and estrogen are out of balance, your cortisol is disrupting your cycle, and your body needs targeted botanical support. Soothe is formulated to address exactly this.

What Soothe Does for Hormone Balance and PMS

  • Balances hormones naturally — 10 clinically-dosed herbs that smooth out the highs and lows of your cycle, all month long
  • Reduces PMS symptoms — less irritability, bloating, breast tenderness, and mood swings
  • Supports progesterone balance — addresses the progesterone-estrogen imbalance at the root of most PMS
  • Regulates cycle length and flow — supports predictable, manageable periods
  • Calms the nervous system — eases PMS-related anxiety and improves sleep in the luteal phase

Key Ingredients in Soothe

Vitex (Chaste Tree Berry)

The most clinically studied herb for PMS and hormone balance. Vitex modulates dopamine and prolactin levels in the pituitary gland, supporting the progesterone-estrogen ratio that collapses in the luteal phase and drives PMS symptoms. Over a dozen clinical trials confirm its effectiveness. Takes 2-3 cycles to reach full effect — this is a long-game hormone balancer.

Ashwagandha

Chronically elevated cortisol suppresses progesterone production, amplifying every PMS symptom. Ashwagandha is one of the most studied adaptogens for cortisol modulation — clinical trials show it reduces cortisol by 14-30%, with downstream improvements in progesterone balance, PMS severity, sleep quality, and stress resilience.

Lemon Balm

A gentle anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing herb) that works through GABA pathways — the same calming neurotransmitter system targeted by anti-anxiety medications, but without the side effects or dependency risk. Particularly helpful for the PMS-related nervous tension, sleep disruption, and irritability that respond poorly to other interventions.

Dong Quai

A foundational women's tonic in Traditional Chinese Medicine, used for over 2,000 years to regulate cycles, ease menstrual cramps, and balance the emotional turbulence of the luteal phase. Modern research supports its phytoestrogenic and anti-inflammatory mechanisms.

How to Use Soothe for PMS and Hormone Balance

Take 1-2 dropperfuls daily, throughout your full cycle — not just in your luteal phase. Hormonal balance requires consistent botanical input; most women report meaningful improvement in PMS symptoms by their second or third cycle of regular use. Can be taken in water, tea, or directly under the tongue.

Who Soothe Is For

Soothe is designed for women experiencing PMS, irregular cycles, estrogen dominance patterns, mood instability tied to their cycle, and the hormonal turbulence of perimenopause. If your symptoms are tied to your cycle — if they come and go with your period — Soothe is designed for you.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
