Native to South Africa, this compact aloe brings bold color and structure to water-wise landscapes and modern garden designs. Unlike many other aloes, Aloe striata features broad, fleshy leaves with smooth edges (no sharp spines), making it an excellent choice for patios, walkways, and container planting. The leaves form elegant rosettes and often develop soft pink to red margins when exposed to sun or cool temperatures.
In late winter to early spring, tall flower stalks emerge above the foliage, producing clusters of long-lasting coral-red tubular blooms that attract hummingbirds and pollinators.
