Wild Lupine
(Lupinus Perennis)
Package Contains 100mg of Wild Lupine wildflower seeds
Among the first to bloom, this hardy flower is a true beacon of summer in Alaska. It is so hardy and ravenous in its rapid growth that ancient peoples named it after the mighty wolf.
Painting on face of seed packet is a crop of "Awakening - Mt. Susitna Sunrise" a painting of the popular "Sleeping Lady" mountain formation with the wild lupine and an entire field full of Alaskan wildflowers gathered below it. A true scene from Alaska by yours truly, Karen Whitworth.
