The Ficus Decora Burgundy, commonly known as the Rubber Plant, is a striking houseplant characterized by its large, glossy leaves with deep burgundy hues. This elegant plant is a popular choice for indoor spaces, adding a touch of sophistication and a splash of color to any room.
Light Needs: Rubber Plants prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate lower light conditions but may lose some of their vibrant color. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause the leaves to scorch.
Water Needs: Water your Rubber Plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Be careful not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot. Ensure that the pot has good drainage to prevent water from sitting at the bottom.
Humidity Needs: Rubber Plants appreciate higher humidity levels but can adapt to average indoor humidity. To boost humidity, you can mist the leaves occasionally or place the plant on a tray filled with pebbles and water, ensuring the pot is above the water line.
