Why You’ll Love It ✔️
✔️ Velvety, heart-shaped foliage with dramatic contrasting venation
✔️ Colourful undersides ranging from red to burgundy for added visual appeal
✔️ Climbing habit makes it perfect for training on a moss pole to achieve large, showy leaves
Care Tips
🌞 Light: Bright indirect light enhances colour and keeps leaves healthy; avoid harsh direct sun
💧 Water: Water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry; ensure the pot drains freely to prevent rot
💦 Humidity: Recommend using a humidifier to maintain high humidity for lush growth
🌡 Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27°C; keep above 15°C
🌱 Soil: Well-draining mix of coco coir, coco chip & perlite
🪴 Support: Requires a moss pole or similar structure to climb and produce mature foliage
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is in the potting mix; supplement with a balanced liquid feed during the growing season
🚫 Toxicity: We believe it’s safe, but keep out of reach of pets and children as a precaution
Bring home the velvet elegance of Philodendron verrucosum and let its luxurious foliage take centre stage in your collection.
